About Me – Karen Wild, PhD

I am Karen Wild, a PhD in Biology specializing in neurophysiology and anatomy. After completing my thesis, I worked as a research and teaching assistant at the Institute of Anatomy and Cellular Neuroanatomy, University of Ulm.

With over 40 years of experience with horsesin Germany and Sweden, I understand how crucial a relaxed and balanced horse is for fluid movement and harmonious riding. My scientific background and practical expertise allow me to address issues such as muscle tone, pain, tension, and proprioceptioneffectively.

In 2010, I earned my Equine Sports Massage Therapist diploma and founded Hands for Horses Sweden. This training covers equine anatomymuscle and digestive physiologynutritionmovement analysis, and the impact of training sessions on horse health.
