I am Karen Wild, a PhD in Biology specializing in neurophysiology and anatomy. After completing my thesis, I worked as a research and teaching assistant at the Institute of Anatomy and Cellular Neuroanatomy, University of Ulm.
With over 40 years of experience with horsesin Germany and Sweden, I understand how crucial a relaxed and balanced horse is for fluid movement and harmonious riding. My scientific background and practical expertise allow me to address issues such as muscle tone, pain, tension, and proprioceptioneffectively.
In 2010, I earned my Equine Sports Massage Therapist diploma and founded Hands for Horses Sweden. This training covers equine anatomy, muscle and digestive physiology, nutrition, movement analysis, and the impact of training sessions on horse health.
Specialized Services
Beyond traditional massage, I focus on fascia therapy, an essential connective tissue that influences both mobility and mental well-being. I offer Equine Fascia Trauma Release (EFTR®)—a rare and advanced technique in the Stockholm area. Additionally, I integrate proprioception exercises and Kinesio taping to enhance body awareness and recovery.
